How much of a discount can I expect?

You can check your exact savings by entering in your zip code on the Ameriplan® home page. Select "click here for providers and fee schedule", choose the doctor you want to see, choose "closest to nearest address" and put your zip code in. This will bring up a list of available health care providers in your area, and will tell you whether they are lime, red or teal for the fee schedule.

Are there any age restrictions for inclusion in house hold coverage?

There isn't any age limit. Anyone at your permanent address is included. You do not have to be related to share a household plan.

What about service in other states?

Any Ameriplan® provider nationwide is eligible.

How much will I pay for dental services?

Restorative and cosmetic work (braces, filings etc.) will be offered at savings of 25%-65% and savings of u to 80% will be offered for preventative work (checkups, cleanings). How long is the contract?

You are not obligated to continue your membership should you decide to stop. You can pay monthly, quarterly or annually. If you pay for a year up front, you will get a 20% the following year. You must only give 30 days notice before canceling your plan.

How are Ameriplan® providers selected?

Many have been referred by our members. We also recruit top quality professionals. All providers must have a valid license and active liability and professional insurance. The providers are checked out thoroughly before gaining access.

Will I really save money with Ameriplan®?

All dentist services will be reduce their usual fee by the agreed upon percentage.

How often can I visit the dentist or chiropractor?

There is no limit. It is at your discretion.

How can I file a complaint about the fee or quality of dental service?

If you cannot come to an agreement with the dental provider, you should call Ameriplan® customer service. If the quality of care is substandard, the provider may face disciplinary action from the relevant professional board.

Will Prices go up after I join?

Prices are guaranteed to stay the same for two years.

Is lasik eye surgery covered?

Yes, you will save up to 55% on lasik.

What about mental health benefits?

Yes, mental health coverage is included in the standard medical package. There are in fact 45 different categories of mental care covered. To find out exactly what is covered, click on the "find a provider" link and choose mental health.
